Catering is available and clubhouse seating for over 400 is available at the White Pines Golf Course Clubhouse. Most parties range from 15 to 50 people. Different competitive events can be arranged including long drive competitions, hole in one contests, and closest to the pin competitions. Group instruction from one of our PGA professionals can also be provided. The golf simulator is very popular for outings and can be used by large groups at one time.
Why is the dome better than outdoor driving ranges that are heated ? There are many reasons! First it is always warm and comfortable and you won't have to wear several layers of clothes or a winter coat and gloves to stay warm. It hurts your golf swing to practice with too much clothes on! Second, it is never windy so you can see how you are hitting the ball without the effects of the wind. We also have hitting targets suspended from the ceiling which greatly help a golfer work on ball trajectory. Also, balls and golf mats are warm which takes away some of the shock which may occur by hitting outside. Additionally, golf lessons can be videotaped with the latest in video equipment which is not available outside the dome.
Can I watch my favorite sporting event there ? Yes! We have four televisions located throughout the dome and snack bar which are usually tuned to the Golf Channel but change if a major sporting event is on.
